NYS CHAMPIONSHIP

The New York State Championship is open to all racers regardless of their home state. Join us as the best amateur atv and dirt bike racers compete to win the New York State Championship plate in all motocross classes. Overall winners in all classes receive not only the state championship plate but also the event first place plate as well.  All amateur racing takes place on U-2, our amateur track built with amateur racing in mind.

Again for 2018 you will be able to pre-enter the NYS Championship prior to the event. The link will be below once pre-registration for this event is active.

Pre-Entry for the NY State Championship is available through 7pm Friday, August 24th. All classes will also be offered at post-registration at the event.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN GIFT CARD PROGRAM

The New York State Championship is enrolled in the Rocky Mountain ATV MX gift card program. Racers who enter this event will receive a $10 Rocky Mountain gift card by mail upon conclusion of the event. Cards are limited to one per racer.

***Please note the AMA racing rule that states that all racers competing in amateur classes must be 12 years old or older on the date of the event. Racers must be 14 or older to race a 250cc 2-stroke/4-stroke and 16 or older to race a 450cc, including in any youth class.

REQUIREMENTS

Unadilla uses the AMA or ATVA card as the swipe card for the registration system. It is easier for the rider if they have an AMA or ATVA card in hand.

AMA or ATVA Member

  • $49 full year membership-available at track or on line
  • $20 day pass; available only at track

Member of an AMA District

  • $30 District 3 season membership online or at the track.
  • $65 family membership
  • $10 day pass at the track

All riders regardless of age must attend registration. If under 18, a parent must accompany the racer to registration. In the event a parent is unable to attend, a signed, dated, and notarized permission slip is required.

MINOR RELEASE FORM

All racers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent. If a parent will not be in attendance, then a notarized permission slip is absolutely required. Even if a sibling 18 years or older is the responsible party, a notarized permission slip is still required. THE AMA COMPETITION MEMBERSHIP CARD AND RELEASE WILL NOT OVERRIDE THIS REQUIREMENT. The permission slip must read as follows:

I hereby give permission for my (son/daughter), (child’s name) to race in the New York State Championship at Unadilla MX, New Berlin, NY on August 26, 2018. (Name) will be responsible for (him/her) during the event.

Notarized signature and seal

A notary public can be found at your bank, local government offices, local public schools, and in many places of business. The permission slip MUST be notarized. We recommend a second notarized slip stating that the responsible party can make medical decisions for the minor should that be necessary.

NYS Championship is run by District 3, AMA, and ATVA rules.

RULES / RESTRICTIONS

  • NO fireworks
  • NO Personal checks
  • NO vending without prior approval
  • NO scaffolding
  • NO alcohol trackside
  • NO glass containers
  • NO bicycles around the track
  • NO unleashed pets-must be cleaned up after
  • NO DRONES over the facility at any time
  • NO pit racing
  • NO pets trackside-please clean up after them
  • Pit vehicles not allowed through tunnel or trackside
  • Quiet hours 11pm-6am
