Optional Non-District Race Day on May 6, 2017

THE DISTRICT 3 EVENT IS ON FOR THIS WEEKEND! RAIN OR SHINE, WE RACE. THE TRACK HAS BEEN LEFT SEALED SO THE RAIN WE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING IS RUNNING OFF. HEY, DISTRICT 3, YOU’RE TOUGH, DON’T LET A LITTLE RAIN STOP YOU!

Welcome to another exciting year for District 3 racing at Unadilla. We will host two District 3 events this year–May 7th and the NY State Championship on August 27th.

May 7th will start us off with all District 3 classes.   We will be racing non-District 3 on Saturday, May 6th as part of the Loretta Lynn’s Area Qualifier program, which allows you to make a weekend of it. Regardless of whether you plan to try and qualify for Loretta Lynn’s both days of this event is open to you. If your bike fits, you can race. In addition to the Saturday May 6th qualifier classes, we will run some extra classes as well. Again, the May 6th, May 7th, and August 27nd events are open to all.

New for 2017, you can pre-enter the District event. Information and links are below!!

REQUIREMENTS

Unadilla uses the AMA or ATVA card as the swipe card for the registration system. It is easier for the rider if they have an AMA or ATVA card in hand.

AMA or ATVA Member

  • $49 full year membership-available at track or on line
  • $20 day pass; available only at track
  • Family pass-available on line or by calling AMA directly

District 3 Member or Member of Another AMA District

  • $30 season membership online or at the track.
  • $10 day pass at the track

All riders regardless of age must attend registration. If under 18, a parent must accompany the racer to registration. In the event a parent is unable to attend, a signed, dated, and notarized permission slip is required.

MINOR RELEASE FORM

All racers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent. If a parent will not be in attendance, then a notarized permission slip is absolutely required. Even if a sibling 18 years or older is the responsible party, a notarized permission slip is still required. THE AMA COMPETITION MEMBERSHIP CARD AND RELEASE WILL NOT OVERRIDE THIS REQUIREMENT. The permission slip must read as follows:

I hereby give permission for my (son/daughter), (child’s name) to race in the District 3 at Unadilla MX, New Berlin, NY on May 6th& 7th, 2017. (Name) will be responsible for (him/her) during the event.

Signed _______________________________________

Notarized signature and seal

A notary public can be found at your bank, local government offices, local public schools, and in many places of business. The permission slip MUST be notarized. We recommend a second notarized slip stating that the responsible party can make medical decisions for the minor should that be necessary.
